In a swift and decisive military action against terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), the Indian armed forces executed Operation Sindoor, where 24 precision strikes on nine different targets were carried out in a span of 25 minutes in the early hours of May 7, 2025. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said India exercised its “right to respond” to an attack on its soil, referring to the Pahalgam attack.
Five of these targets were inside PoK, while the remaining four were in Pakistan. The nine different targets are shown in the map below.
The aftermath of Operation Sindoor resulted in Pakistan resorting to unprovoked firings across the Line Of Control (LOC) using mortars and heavy calibre artillery, as a result of which 16 civilians were killed. From May 7 to May 10, drone incursions, which were successfully intercepted and thwarted, were reported in several locations across the UT of Jammu & Kashmir, and States of Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat. Around 300 to 400 drones were used by Pakistan to target Indian sites.
In Ferozpur, Punjab, a crashing projectile from the destroyed Pakistani drone landed at a house in Village Khai Pheme Ke, setting the structure and a car on fire, and injuring three members of a family.
Directors General from the three services under the Indian Armed Forces addressed a press conference on Sunday (May 11, 2025) regarding Operation Sindoor and said that over 100 terrorists were killed, including those involved in the IC 814 hijacking and the Pulwama blasts.
Markaz Taiba, Muridke
The Indian Armed Forces struck terror infrastructure at Markaz Taiba, Muridke. Four targets within the marked territory below were destroyed, as shown below.

Response to Pakistan’s retaliatory strikes
Along with sharing satellite imagery of damage to terror infrastructure caused through Operation Sindoor, they also shared satellite imagery of military targets struck as a response to Pakistan’s retaliations since May 7 (Wednesday). Additionally, BSF said, on May 10, 2025, that it has completely destroyed aterrorist launchpad at Looni in Sialkot district, opposite Akhnoor area. The locations of the military targets struck and the terror launchpad destroyed in Looni are shown in the map below.
Jacobabad Airfield
The Indian Armed Forces targeted and struck an aircraft hangar in a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) base in Jacobabad, as shown in the satellite imagery displayed below.
Nuk Khan (Chaklala) Airfield
An operations centre was targeted and struck in the Nur Khan airbase in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
Sukkur Airfield
An aircraft shelter was targeted and struck in the Sukkur airfield, the location and damage to which is shown below.
Pasrur Air Defence Radar
An air defence radar was targeted and destroyed in the Pasrur airfield, as shown below.
Bholari Airfield
An aircraft hangar was destroyed in the Bholari airbase, as shown below.
Sargodha Airfield
Two areas within the Sargodha airfield were struck by the Indian Armed Forces, as per the press briefing held on May 11, 2025. The damage sustained in the first area is shown below.

Arifwala Air Defence Radar
An air defence radar was destroyed in Arifwala.
